Old English Key- small
A lovely old antique English Key! The smaller size is rare, especially ones with a complex bit. This size is just a bit longer but much heavier than an average skeleton key, and ranges from 3" - 3 1/8". See comparison photo that has a skeleton key next to an old English key. These keys range is age from 150 - 200 years old! How cool is that? It has an English coin, assorted Czech beads and a brass padlock charm. It hangs on a length of 32" antique silver double link chain. It's the perfect accessory to wear with a bulky sweater or a tunic style top. You can be sure to be the only woman wearing a 150 year old English key at any party you ever go to! Each one is a one-of-a-kind. Let me pick a really nice one for you! These keys don't have any nickle plating or the same alloys that newer keys have, so it's important to not let them get wet. if they do, wipe with a dry cloth. If a bit of rust starts to appear, just rub with a coarse green scrubbie or fine steel wool.
Key hangs from an extra-long 32" link chain necklace with a lobster claw closing so that you can adjust the length if you wish. Link chain is more substantial and sophisticated than the basic ball chain. Plus, it gives the key a more vintage look. This chain is American-made from brass with either an antique silver or an antique brass color plating.
